The aim of the project is to build the capacity of local consultants without technical education in the Kyrgyz Republic in order to improve the quality of business advice they provide to local representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), allowing them to implement elements of green transformation in business advice.
Description of services:
- Development of relevant training materials, taking into account the specifics of the country: the legal framework, local tariffs, local practices, financial instruments available for investments in energy efficiency.
- Adaptation and preparation of the general content of the training to the specific needs of consultants.
- Expand concepts and knowledge about the types of energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies in various industries;
- To transfer basic skills in the feasibility study of environmental efficiency measures in accordance with best practices and international standards;
- To introduce the main tools for identifying the most relevant energy efficiency solutions for local SMEs;
- To familiarize with the basic calculations of the ERR, the financial impact of the cost of resources and the analysis of indicators for energy and CO2 emissions;
- To transfer knowledge about monitoring electricity consumption with an emphasis on the transformation of a typical business model into a project with a "green" approach;
- To reveal the topic of turning environmental problems into business opportunities, and to develop consultants' skills applicable for business consultations in the integration of a "green" approach;
- To familiarize with regulatory legal acts (NPAs) on the international obligations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the country's strategic plans for sustainable business development;
- To familiarize with the successful practice of introducing green technologies in various business sectors.
