
Professional journalists from Bishkek, Osh, Batken, Jalal-Abad and Naryn participated in a training on energy and resource efficiency and small renewable energy sources (RES) from UNISON Group on October 17-18, 2024.
On the first day of the training, lecturers Nurzat Abdyrasulova, President of the UNISON Group, expert on energy and resource efficiency, Bakyt Askarbekov, UNISON Group expert on green economy and renewable energy, and Zhanybek Kulumbetov, engineer, expert on energy and resource efficiency, talked about the basics of energy efficiency and renewable energy, legislation in the field of energy efficiency of the Kyrgyz Republic, energy–efficient technologies of buildings and structures, successful practices of energy efficiency and many others.
Journalists from leading radio stations, news agencies, TV channels, newspapers, as well as employees of regional press services of regional administrations asked the speakers all their questions.
On the second day of the training, media staff visited Bintek, which has been engaged in the production, construction, installation and reconstruction of local wastewater treatment plants since 2010.They got acquainted with the technology of wastewater treatment, the insulation of the production workshop, the operation of a 15kW solar power plant and a heat pump. These technologies are energy and resource efficient and allow you to save electricity consumption without harm to the environment.
The journalists then went to the UNISON Group office, where they were also shown the green technologies implemented in the building. These are a solar station, a solar collector, a heat pump, a sewage treatment plant, and many others.All participants of the training were awarded certificates. The journalists expressed their gratitude to the organizer for the knowledge gained, inspired by the new experience, they promised to make new news materials based on more in-depth information from our speakers.
